Look at that! My first piece of quote-unquote "art"!

I built this monstrosity in Hero Machine 3 Alpha. I was playing around with the tools in there and I thought it'd be funny to try and satirize the characters created by infamous artist Rob Liefeld.

If it seems like this character is a jumbled mess, it's because he is. If the body proportions seem completely askew, it's because they are. If the guns seem huge and ridiculous, it's because they are.

That was probably the most fun part of this project. Building the guns. Hero Machine 3 Alpha lets you put guns together in pieces so you're not shackled to using the images in the gallery. You can choose any handle and any gun barrel you want, and I decided to go nuts with them. Each gun is composed of about five or six pieces, mostly pistol parts enlarged to ludicrous sizes. There's also a thompson submachinegun hidden in the left-hand gun and a P90 tucked away inside the right-hand gun.

There's a couple other things I did to make it as much like Liefeld's typical creations as I could. The eyes for example are completely blank. Liefeld had this weird thing where he didn't like drawing eyes so he would make them as small and indistinct as possible, making everyone look like they were squinting. Feet were another thing Liefeld hated drawing, so most of his characters had really small feet. I tried to shrink the feet of this guy down as much as possible. And of course there's the metric ton of useless pouches. Liefeld loved those back in the day.

I didn't really have a point to make with this one, I just threw it together for the lulz. =P

EDIT: Re-uploaded in widescreen so you can see the whole gun.
